When you visit Sentosa, you’re entering a totally different level of thrill and luxury just 10 minutes outside the chic Singapore center.

Less like the urban skyscraper paradise, more like a green and peaceful wonderland with its own sandy beach.

And here comes our best find of the Singapore hotel scene – Le Meridien Singapore, Sentosa! A luxury Singaporean island experience at mid-range prices.

HIGHS & LOWS

STAFF. Appreciated the high-quality service and communication by the staff. That’s usually my highlight of staying at Le Méridien hotels – and this time the staff was up to the standard.

STYLE. I absolutely loved the luxury Golden Age travel vibe, created by the clean, white design with colonial-style elements. Walking around the hotel’s gardens, sitting in terrace with a cold drink in hand, I felt like a Hollywood diva on vacation. And the aesthetic huge chess figures in front of the entrance are a cherry on top.

GREEN LOCATION. Le Méridien Singapore is located opposite Imbiah Monorail Station, which means 5-minute train ride away from Sentosa beach in one direction or 5 minutes from Singapore city and the main metro lines in the other direction.

NEW TASTES. One of my favorite things about staying here was the breakfast time. Le Méridien signature restaurant Latest Recipe made my tastebuds “dance in joy” with a good variety of different Asian and especially Indian flavors. Yummm! (costs 33US$ per person. P.S. It’s quite costly to be a foodie in Singapore)

INSTAGRAM SPOTS. The stylish interior & exterior of this place made my IG creativity fly! Grab your camera and head out to the chess figures, the lobby and especially the large glass pool.

PRIVATE JACUZZI. O, yessss!!! That’s my favorite part of the room – a private terrace with a heated outdoor jacuzzi. Especially cool to use it when it’s pouring rain outside.

EXCELLENT PRICE. Overall a great value for money, especially as this is the most upscale area of Singapore.

GETTING LOST IN THE HALLWAYS. They have 119 guest rooms spread out across several long hallways. And somehow there are not clear exit and direction signs, so on the first night, it took me quite a lot of time to figure out which door leads out of the hallway into the reception.

ROOM INTERIOR. Even though I’m over the moon about the interior design of the public areas, the interior of my room felt too plain and simple. It was lacking the usual stylish Le Méridien vibe.

There are 9 different room categories, double, twin rooms, and family rooms. Definitely check out the Merlion Suite with a view to the legendary Merlion – the symbol of the country. My second favorite is the Japanese style Onsen Suite King. CHECK OUT THE CATEGORIES AND DETAILS HERE!

FREE DRINKS
Hey coffee lovers! There’s a coffee machine in the room with high-quality espresso capsules. You also get free water and tea.

BAR
The WoW – World of Whisky, experience the finest of premium whiskeys in Singapore.

Fast and reliable for whatever you need!

POOL/ GYM
There’s a huge glass pool, great for swimming laps. Or you can chill at the pool zone on one of the loungers with your feet in the water. Hit the gym afterward, as it’s open 24h. So, no excuses!

CHILDREN
This is a kid’s friendly place with family rooms and baby cribs if needed. Kids till 12 stay for free, is using the existing bedding. Oh, and kids up to 6 y.o. eat breakfast for free.

GREAT FOR
travelers who are looking to enjoy the luxury of Singapore at midrange prices. Especially good for families with kids, as there are a lot of kids activities in the nearby area.
