1. Jungle Vibes at Una Vida
UNA VIDA TULUM is a real treasure in the jungle right on the side of Tulum. It’s nicely hidden from curious eyes and all the city noise. The jungle feels are all over the Una Vida territory as well as its surroundings.
The jungle view of my Una Vida villa reminded me of the vampire home where Cullen family lived in the middle of a deep forest in the Twilight saga. That’s a 100% exciting feeling!
My villa had a similar fully glass wall with a jungle view, and the terrace right above the trees. A terrace for the bedroom and a different terrace for the living room, that’s combined with a kitchen.
I still feel the rich aroma of the morning coffee that filled the fresh morning air on the terrace along with first rays of sunshine. A perfect way how to spend an early morning.

2. Wonderful Eco Design
By taking just first steps through the entrance of Una Vida, very tasteful and most importantly eco-friendly interior is in front of your eyes. Even the reception area looks just like from an interior magazine.

Everything from furniture to the smallest decor has a carefully thought-out place that creates a wonderful overall view.
The interior design team that worked here, have done an excellent job here. It’s a well-blended style with bohemian elements throughout the whole place.
Crocheted hammocks, dream catchers in the tropical garden and other totally creative design elements made me feel like I’ve found my ideal holiday home.
It seems like we were not the only ones who fell in love with Una Vida. The Travel Leaf Instagram followers did as well. We received so many questions about where to get different elements of their design after we posted one of the photos from Una Vida on The Travel Leaf Instagram.

3. Being a king or a queen of your own castle
Each one of Una Vida villas is equipped with all the necessary to feel at home. There’s a stove, microwave, fridge, pots, and pans as well as others tools for cooking.
They even offer drinking water, various spices, oils and eco-coffee in each villa. The kitchen area really made the place filled with the warmth of a home and didn’t feel like a hotel at all.
4. Helpful and stylish staff
Una Vida’s staff were all super helpful and friendly. As soon as we arrived at our villa, we were kindly shown the area and the villa itself. Afterward, the receptionist marked on a map all the best places in Tulum that are worth a visit.

These suggestions were not just the most expensive, commission paying places, but genuinely good spots. We really appreciate it. That way we learned also the location of the only supermarket in Tulum. Very useful knowledge considering we have this great kitchen for cooking in the villa.

We were positively impressed by the staff of Una Vida. Not just by their hospitality, but also by everybody’s stylish look. They complimented well the awesome boutique style of the villas.
5. Peaceful surroundings at Una Vida
As mentioned before, it’s not so easy for unwanted eyes to look inside Una Vida. They have thought well about the relaxing feeling for their guests by creating a very private atmosphere in the property.
This place will be a perfect harmony island for those who are tired from the city noise. In addition to that, a great thing is the fact that everything needed – awesome coffee places, restaurants, and a grocery store is just about the reach of a hand away. And not just that. You will find some of the Mexicos most beautiful cenotes just around the corner.
6. A natural boost of energy
Spending time at Una Vida in Tulum is a perfect way how to re-charge your inner batteries. For example, a great way how to boost your energy is to pick a bicycle instead of a car to move around the city. Una Vida offers free beach bikes for all their guests, that way contributing to a good dose of sunny energy.
Also, there’s no greater way how to start a morning than a refreshing swim in the pool or a yoga class, that will wake up your body and mind. It’s all possible at Una Vida.
7. Lots of Instagram snaps
Una Vida with its wonderful wild gypsy design will give you moments when you walk around the area and suddenly wanna scream out “WOW” one after another.
These boutique villas are so rich with Instagram spots, so if you are staying here, fancy holiday shots are pretty much guaranteed.
8. A perfect place for families and travelers with pets
During the time I spent at Una Vida I noticed that we and all the neighbors are existing next to each other perfectly. Nobody disturbed others. Two villas were occupied by families with children. These kids apparently loved to play in the pool while their parents chilled on the lounge chairs right by the pool. Fresh air and peace all around.
Also, the buildings themselves felt very family friendly. They are spacious and made of natural materials. Even the smaller villas (with 2 rooms) would be perfect for a family with children. Plus they welcome animals. Isn’t that great?
9. Costs
Even though Una Vida Villas should be considered more to the luxury end, in comparison to quality and price anywhere else in Tulum, this is a real catch. Price for a villa at Una Vida definitely feels much lower than the quality of living and service we received in return. Awesome!
I consider this place as my Mexican jungle sanctuary.

Great post; how was access to the beach?
Hey Niko! Thanks for your comment! The beach is about a 10-minute bicycle ride away. And since they provide free bicycles at all times, getting to the beach was no problem.
Stunning photos! It looks like an incredible getaway, you’ve definitely peaked my wanderlust!
I have to admit I am in love with your pictures..they are truly stunning! If only Mexico wasn’t so far from Asia, I would perhaps be there this year itself!
It’s indeed a beautiful place, all your photos are stunning. The views from the Cullen’s home always make me dream so I’m sure I’d love that place. I don’t like the city noise and I love being close to nature 🙂
Wow! This looks like a perfect getaway in nature! The resort looks super luxurious as well as tranquil. Love the rustic settings and eco designs. It reminds me of my recent stay in Koh Jum Beach Villas, Krabi. Your lovely pictures truly justify the splendid beauty of the resort.
